RICArts is situated on Russell Island, in the beautiful Southern Moreton Bay Islands.

We are a not-for-profit Community Arts Group with a passion and energy for the arts, helping and working closely with our local community.
​
​​Nestled in the beautiful avocado orchard of the historic Kennedy's Farm on Russell Island, it is a unique haven for our local artists as well as our many visitors.
​
We are open 5 mornings a week and often on weekends, especially during exhibitions.
​If you are especially travelling here for a visit from the other islands or the mainland please contact us first to make sure we will be open.

For our local, inter-island and sometimes mainland artists, we have a number of informal sessions, structured classes and workshops as well as an array of exhibitions throughout the year in a variety of disciplines such as painting, pottery, mosaics and weaving along with other groups of artists engaging in music and crafts.
RICArts has coordinated the production of art in public spaces, that include murals and mosaics erected throughout Russell Island.

The group artworks are created by our dedicated members who volunteer their skills and passion for art.
